A book about SAP career development

Who can say how many books are there about SAP? Hundreds!

Some of them are free, like the e-book from SAP Expert.

Some of them are not free, and the best of them are recommended by SAP Expert.

What do most of them have in common? They talk about technical aspects of SAP, or about implementation of different SAP modules.

There is only one book I know which talks about SAP from the users’ point of view: “Using SAP: A Guide for Beginners and End Users”. And there were none, to the best of my knowledge, that talk you through making a career in SAP.

Now there is such a book. Tanya Duncan, the experienced SAP CO consultant, has recently published a book “The Essential SAP Career Guide – A beginner’s guide to SAP careers for students and professionals”. This book covers topics such as basic SAP knowledge, the fundamental concepts of the SAP process, and the matter of starting and developing a SAP career. I think this book should be considered essential reading for those who are seriously considering establishing a career in SAP, or who are at the early stages of creating one.
